For Lost/Stolen debit cards, or if you suspect fraudulent activity – report it immediately.

To report Lost/Stolen cards, or any suspected fraudulent activity on your Heritage State Bank Debit Card:

Call 800-500-1044 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) to cancel your existing card.
Keep your confirmation number for reference.
Contact a customer service representative or a relationship banker at 800-567-7297 (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday) to report the fraudulent activity and start an investigation.

Heritage State Bank is participating in the FDIC’s Transaction Account Guarantee Program. Under this program, through December 31, 2010, all noninterest-bearing transaction accounts are fully guaranteed by the FDIC for the entire amount in the account. Accounts such as our Elite or Super Now are not covered under the program since they are paid more than .25%. Coverage under the Transaction Account Guarantee Program is in addition to and separate from the coverage available under the FDIC’s general deposit insurance rules.
